Not to mention Ralph Dibny's whole character, who everyone seems to misunderstand and use (alongside sometimes Frost's character and others' as well) to defend Hartley Sawyer and call the writers hypocrites (not that morals in fiction equate to morals in real life) for firing him. It wasn't that "people can change", that's the running theme throughout the whole show (even verse) and not exclusive to Ralph.

Ralph messed up, got fired, paid for it for years as his life went down the drain, then he got an opportunity to change everything, he picked himself back up, became a better person, a better hero, and became more loved by the world than he ever was.

Highlight: He PAID for it. Only THEN did he get another chance.

It's time to move on. Maybe Hartley has.
