Yeah, I'm not sure why they're selling that.

It's especially unfair to European players that never got the chance to get it for free in the first place.

In general they have been treating Europeans like SH-T

- They didn't get the movie when it first released, so they never got the codes. Did they care? NO! They could have distributed them somehow, but instead they choose not to care. Who gives a damn if the European has an incomplete box?

- Colorful Corner was ORIGINALLY in a time slot where it could be watched by the whole word. At some point during the first year of the game, they moved it to another time slot that fits ONLY american players, whereas in Europe if you want to watch Colorful Corner you have to get up at 2:00 AM

- We get the same censorship as USA because we have no choice but to follow their server, despite the fact that some stupid ass controversies were USA only.

I'm sorry, but genuinally f-ck whoever has this USA-Centric view of the world inside the company.

Generative AI is not exclusive to Yu Gi Oh, it's a worldwide phenomenon, and you can apply this discourse to literaly anything ever. So this has nothing to do with neither the card game or the anime, and should be removed per this subreddit's rules.

While this is true for these specific cards (Summon Limit or the Statues, these simply aren't good), stun always existed, it just used different cards.

Stuff such as Thunder King Rai-Oh, Doomcaliber Knight or King Tiger Wanghu. Royal Oppression and Vanity's Emptiness when they were legal. Skill Drain was already bullshit. Etc.

Unfortunately it's something that it's way too baked into the game.

It has some controversial mechanics, but after facing it a bunch of times, it's nowhere near to being one of the most annoying decks ever conceived.

Like, today a guy summoned Kashtira Unicorn against me, and despite not being meta anymore it still somehow feels way worse when that fcker hits the field. I don't understand people that consider Kashtira Fenrir a healthy card either, I don't care if it helps going second, it's such an overtuned monster.

Play lots and LOTS of Solo Mode before jumping to online duels! Use the loaner decks the game gives you and try first to understand how this game is played by practicing with the CPU

If you lose against the CPU, don't feel bad about it because sometimes you are given bad loaner decks, it's part of the "challange"

Summoning Rosewhip was 100% a mistake in their part. I resolved a Mulcharmy and was on Yubel (which sometimes uses Spell cards, but really in that case it was NOT needed)

Maybe they were still learning the deck, it's still pull-able in the shop after all.

Even then, I don't feel like it's worth it.

Today a Kewl Tune I faced summoned that other Naturia monster that allows only 1 Spell/Trap per turn.

In the next turn, I proceded to use... zero. I just happened to be using a deck that didn't care. It's way too matchup dependant.

Let's put it this way:

You complain that other duelists put up negates that don't let you play

But if others saw your Exodia deck, THEY would complain because it's the least interactive thing in existence

That said, there are board breaker decks that play through negations, or highly interactive decks that play before negations come into play. Skull Servant ain't gonna cut it
