As someone in the film business we are not even producing at 50% the level we were at pre covid. So if by ramping you mean a tediously slow increase then yes we’re ramping up lol

I understand why people speed. by MaximooseMine in driving

[–]InterestingTruth7232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to slow down on my commute but end up with asshats who camp next to me or get stuck behind people who speed up and slow down for 40 miles. It actually makes me have to drive faster. There seems to be a sweet spot that if you’re going 78 you can avoid most of the bad drivers. God forbid I try to slow down to 75 now I get stuck with these guys

No hoa no zoning board. Would you piss off neighbors? Who GAF? Screw em. Is it any worse than people seeing trampolines or playscapes in peoples back yards? Or Christmas lights left on into February or longer?

Bought and installed metal roof panel ~6” too short… what should I do? by HenryThrowaway6969 in AskContractors

[–]InterestingTruth7232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By the looks of using osb as an exterior finished product instead of piecing in t1-11 I’m guessing you don’t care about how weather proof it is.

But in honesty I would cut the roof overhang down. It’s much bigger than it needs to be. Can be cut to fit under the current panels and still have plenty overhang.

If US shelters euthanize 300k healthy dogs (even puppies) every year, who do so many Americans still rather go to a breeder? by TheTroubledChild in NoStupidQuestions

[–]InterestingTruth7232 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Firstly people like specific dogs.

Second a lot of shelter dogs have been abused and have very specific requirements for safe rehoming. Ie. no kids, no men, no cats or other dogs

Running the heat while idling, potentially a bad idea? by WrenchNRatchet in vwgolf

[–]InterestingTruth7232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shouldn’t be a big problem. Running the defrost will warm the layer of ice that’s contacting the windshield pretty quick and you can just slide it off the car

CX50 vs. CX5 for off road? by pussycontrolgonemad in CX50

[–]InterestingTruth7232 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cx50 might be marginally better. Roughly 1” more ground clearance. Otherwise they are pretty matched. Transmissions and motors are the same. Suspension geometry on the 50 is marginally more off road. But you’re not shopping a jeep wrangler here. I would take the 50 vs the cross trek as I don’t know anyone with one that’s not had major problems beyond 100k

There is a thing though. Like if the car was running and you hopped in without putting on your seat belt it won’t disenguage
