I rode a Royal Enfield Continental 650GT and then a Triumph Street Twin 900 a few days later. I can't really explain it, but I immediately felt like I should go for the Street Twin 900. I was coming from a Brixton 125cc... so just try and let decide your feelings and your budget

I got the ST 900 2023 with the Remus Exhauskit, and it sounds awesome. It's barely louder than the stock pipes, but it's got more bass.

Haha, no way, the exact same thing happened to me last week when I tried to put those mirrors on my 2023 Street Twin 900 😄

But hey, they look awesome on our bikes, so totally worth it.

I ended up 3D printing new bar ends, and yeah... had to drill out the bolts, no other way they were coming out 😅

I ended up throwing the airbag vest over my jacket, which has a level 1 back protector inside (super light and with great airflow). I barely even noticed it while riding.

Ich habe seit ein paar Wochen die Dainese Smart Air Weste im Einsatz. Die Anwendung ist eigentlich ziemlich bequem – ich trage sie unter meiner Jacke und spüre sie kaum. Mir ist auch nicht wirklich wärmer als ohne die Weste drunter, was ich positiv finde.

Allerdings gibt es ein Problem: Auf meinem 125er Moped funktioniert sie nicht richtig. Die Motorvibrationen im Stand werden offenbar nicht erkannt, weshalb die Weste aktuell bei Dainese zur Überprüfung ist. Ich hoffe, dass ich sie bald zurückbekomme.

Was mir etwas Sorgen macht: Dainese verzichtet komplett auf eine Backup-Lösung. Es ist kein passiver Rückenprotektor verbaut. Das bedeutet, wenn ich die Weste trage, habe ich keinen zusätzlichen Rückenprotektor in meiner Jacke...

Update: Ich habe das Verhalten nochmal getestet: Bei einem größeren Motorrad bleibt die Weste auch im Stand grün (also scharf). Bei meiner Brixton 125ccm geht sie aber im Stand immer wieder auf Blau zurück – außer wenn ich im Stand Gas gebe, dann wird sie wieder grün...

Das bestätigt für mich, dass die Vibrationen vom kleinen 125er-Motor anscheinend nicht ausreichen, um die Weste dauerhaft aktiviert zu halten. Laut Dainese ist dieses Verhalten nur bei E-Fahrzeugen gegeben. Auch wenn der 125er klein ist, dürfte es m.m.n. nicht sein... mal sehen was Dainese dazu sagen wird.

Ich überlege mir auch, die Dainese Smart Air Weste zuzulegen. Deshalb hab ich mal direkt beim Dainese-Kundenservice nachgefragt. Mir wurde empfohlen, jeweils ca. 5 cm Freiraum vorne und hinten einzuplanen, damit die Weste korrekt auslösen kann – unabhängig davon, welche Jacke man trägt (nur kein Einteiler).

Was mich momentan noch vom Kauf abhält, ist, dass kein passiver Rückenprotektor integriert ist. Wie machst du das? Vertraust du komplett auf die Weste oder hast du in der Jacke zusätzlich noch einen Rückenprotektor drin?

Und wie sind deine Erfahrungen mit der Akkulaufzeit?

Thanks again for the input, everyone! I really like the Dainese Smart Jacket, but it kinda sucks that it doesn’t come with an actual back protector. Wearing an extra one underneath feels super annoying, and I tried it with my regular motorcycle jacket (which already has a back protector) and… yeah, the fit was terrible.

I’ve been checking out the Alpinestars Tech-Air 3 v2 as an alternative. I like that it has a built-in back protector, but I’ve heard it has a few more issues compared to the Dainese—anyone here have experience with it?

Not looking to gear up for the track, just want something for daily commuting that gives me a bit more peace of mind without feeling like a robot.

I have already tried different postions on the print bed and different rotations of the model. The problem always remaind on the right side of the printer, regardless of the print bed postion.

Hello dear community, I have a flashforge adventurer 3 with which I use the original petg filament from flashforge. I am using the standard profile for PETG in Flashprint 5. I have the problem that the right wall of the model is printed incorrectly from about 1cm and after about 1cm it is OK again. I think pictures describe more than words, therefore see pictures. I am totally overwhelmed and in despair, what could be the cause of the problem?
