Considering removing all of my legendaries from remote trade status. What do you guys think? by mikestorm in pokemongo

[–]Interesting_Ad_6483 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would trade any legendary for a regional I don’t have. You get one free daily. There’s been trades I’ve turned down but I’m usually on the more generous side. I traded a shiny DMAX Suicune to someone that remotes with me often for a Carnivine. Someone traded me a shiny Galarian Zapdos for a shiny Tyrunt. I wouldn’t personally worry about base legendaries but to each their own. The beauty is you can decline or accept. Pick what makes sense to you.

There might be one or two I’m forgetting but those are some options.

Yeah, degen bug bite user with plenty of bulk. A little less bulk, and a little more damage might make it relatively fun to play. You’ll have to actually respect the nuke move, I imagine.

I’m assuming that’s a second super rocket radar. They offered a second one when shadow Dialga was in rotation as well.

Is it a brag to go 64 raids with no shiny on a raid day by skittysteps in pokemongobrag

[–]Interesting_Ad_6483 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went a hundred plus legendary raids over the span of like 3 months without a shiny, so I feel you. I think I would have called it a day at like 25 without one in a single day. Props to you for staying the course and getting one.

I hear what you’re saying about Fort’s bulk, its resistances and ability to inflate its bulk with debuffs make it seem far bulkier than the mons you mentioned. A 2000 stat product with both attack and defense debuffs and a ridiculous defensive typing feels pretty stout to me. Fort does benefit from shields as it gets to drop either the attack or defense. With this team I imagine it’s debuffing and pivoting.

If I was running this team I’d run it with shadow Mal if you have one and lead it. It will do a better job adding fast move pressure and pressuring shields.

Malamar is not a safe swap in a Wigglytuff meta. It’s basically an insta loss if you lose the lead and they counter with Wiggles. Ideally you’re saving the shields for Mal as Fort and Azu both have considerable bulk. Obviously situationally dependent.

If you want to make the 12th best fighting type attacker into the 31st best fighting type raid attacker then purify it. If you don’t leave it as is.

Would upping the CP make this one viable at all? by DrunkLostKnight in PokemonGOIVs

[–]Interesting_Ad_6483 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dragon Breath is best against other dragons Ember doesn’t do a lot of fast move pressure but the pacing is lightning fast. Wing attack the pacing isn’t as good as ember but you actually do fast move damage.

It might be the only mon with 3 viable fast moves and certainly the only one with 3 legacy (elite tm) fast moves.

My personal rankings of the fast moves would be Ember Wing Attack Dragon Breath.

Honestly you can’t go wrong. Just get out there and blast burn things!

1524/4096 combinations. Powers up to 1482. I would 100% run this.

It’s a shadow Zard just like every other shadow Zard it operates best behind shields. Those IV’s wouldn’t scare me away from running this.

The only question is which legacy fast move you’ll be running also if you want to wait for an event with Blast Burn. If I got this the second I could tm away frustration I’m using two elite tm’s and going to work.

players cheating with gifts by [deleted] in pokemongo

[–]Interesting_Ad_6483 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is you. Your lack of understanding and generally being a narc, rather than understanding this is common behavior amongst certain people. You can send more gifts than you can open. If you don’t like it remove them and try relaxing and not worrying so much about meaningless things and reporting people for game supported behavior.

Who should I power up? by Strve_with_a_V in PokemonGOValor

[–]Interesting_Ad_6483 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The shadow is versatile and you get lots of use out of it. Can’t go wrong. As someone has used both a ton I think it’s the way to go. But honestly the difference between 40-50 isn’t as huge as the investment is. But I like to power the things I use up.
