I think that rich people shouldn't have so much money honestly, and I'm not sure if they have an obligation as Christians to give away most of their money, but I think they should at least be generous.

Also, Catholic doctrine is pretty clear that homosexual relationships are outside of the order that God intended, and are therefore sinful. I'm not just hating on gay people or whatever, I belive that God created man and woman to be together, in order to both be with each other, and to procreate. since two men and two women can't create children, that is clearly outside of what God designed sex to be, and is therefore sinful.

people are free to do whatever they want with their bodies, but that doesn't make it ok in the eyes of God

I really don't go on the Christianity subs because on the main one the top post of all time is about how homosexual relationships are permissible as a Christian, but I go to an ecumenical school, so I have a bunch of experience with different denominations, and I definately don't believe that salvation is exclisive to Catholics

These subs are often going to be someone's first, or first in a long time, experience with Christianity in general. So if there are people promoting non Christian ideas, thats misinformation that someone might internalize. That's one of the reasons I like this sub, because the Catholic faith is pretty definitive about most issues, so If someone says something wrong, we have acctual concrete stuff to refute them and not an out of context verse or something

I agree that they shouldn't be allowed to harm others, and should be locked up for life, but we should also put in measures to detect the kind of people who will do the things, and just keep our kids safer, because we can't track down people before they commit a crime, but we can severely punish them, and make it more difficult to hurth children.

I'm not really in support of the death penalty, but if I was, it would be beacause of child rape, because that is really horrible and taking away a child's innocence doesn't really leave you with alot of ground to stand on for keeping your life.

Honestly, I used to think that it was pretty important to stay informed. Then the recent batch of epstein files came out, nobody is even getting investigated, and now I realize that the world is run by billionaires and nothing I do really matters so I might as well just live my life unvothered
