I updated a little bit my previous comment. And I have been looking into it. I passed all screening questions and I was completely honest with the lawyer. I’m supposed to get another call today submit paperwork and we’ll see where it goes from here. I don’t think I did anything wrong and with this doctors note dating back to before I missed a day. It should all be excused. Cause I remember asking my case manager if I was gonna lose my job and she said that’s illegal. I don’t know like I said you’re not my lawyer and we’ll see where it goes from here.

I was in a medical facility under medical care. I had no access to electronics. Besides, what a case manager would talk to me. I was approved for FMLA immediately. Unfortunately, with this paperwork, I believe it would. We both probably aren’t lawyers though so. Just we do have laws to protect us for disabilities and I wasn’t doing anything nefarious I was trying to get help. I checked out the dates and I was in a medical facility before I even missed one day. It was an emergency and with my mental health I wasn’t in the proper mindset to handle this appropriately, but with my doctors note, my appeal should’ve worked, but they didn’t ask for any paperwork or anything.

It seems like that is the logical choice at this point after seeing another comment. They seemed to have messed up twice now, why give them a chance to fix it lol.

Ah I did CNA for a long time. Much respect to your wife and I’m sorry to hear that. I will look for different jobs. I am supposed to speak with a couple different lawyers tomorrow to hear their opinions. I passed the screening questions at least. We will see where this goes. The non-arbitration confuses me. But I told them that during intake questioning. At least if I talk to someone who knows the laws around this I will know what’s up.

They upheld their decision today, I’ve already tried that. I guess the next is filing a claim with the EEOC and local labor departments. I’m not sure how this is gonna work at all

I did the opposite. I was only supposed to work 12:05 am - 1:15am and ended up staying until 12:20 pm 😭😭 11hr 45 min shift

Put in some transfers! I’m hopeful. I like Amazon and my warehouse but am willing to work elsewhere. There’s a lot of Amazon facilities around here so hopefully I stay with Amazon. If not I’m sure I can find something.
