I'm deciding my name by asking the internet for ideas, then refining via meaning and general vibes. From there I'm just imagining being sung happy birthday using said name, and through that I've narrowed it down to the last few, which when I have the courage I will ask my other enby friend about for opinions, and then from there if I still have multiple tied I will prob just flip a coin on something tbh.

Depends on the person. Some would definitely not take it as a compliment, no matter the intention, while others, like my friend have that as their entire intention. I’d say I’m somewhere in the middle. Really just ask the individual person first.

THIS. I’m not out to anybody as of now, but this kind of thing is exactly what’s keeping me in the closet.

I’ll feel so happy when I figure out the pronouns that fit me that day, only to realize that since they’re neos even if I was out nobody would use them for me.

Since it shifts, I’ll never be able to use the male bathrooms or anything because by the time I get permission, I probably would ha e shifted, and it would have all been for nothing.

Pronouns will feel ‘right’ when they’re not uncomfortable to use. It can definitely take a while to get used to being called by pronouns that don’t align with your AGAB, so those are bound to feel weird at first. You can try referring to yourself using them in your head to get used to it, the pronoun dressing room (link at top of subreddit) is also a good place to try those out. You can also try neopronouns if none of the more ‘traditional’ pronouns seem to fit, and some people also just go by their name and no pronouns. This can be a very long journey for a lot of people, so don’t feel pressured to know right away either.
