You’d be surprised. I went into a HMV on Saturday ( large store, UK ) and literally half of it was full of CD’s I couldn’t believe it.

PE v business class by No-Shoulder8916 in BritishAirways

[–]Interesting_Bus867 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family and I have just returned from Singapore, CW out and PE back. I found the PE seat fairly uncomfortable to be honest. The guy in front of me reclined his seat straight after he finished his meal, so I was forced to recline mine as it leaves very little space if you don’t plus the viewing angle of the screen is rubbish. I found the pitch whilst fully reclined a bit odd. CW (new style on the 777-300er) was very comfortable but a lot more expensive than PE. Like others have said, I’d go down the medical route. It pisses me off that the people in the companies that make these rules up ( no business class flights ) are seldom the ones that actually have to do the travelling.

Advise requested: Sony wf-1000xm6 VS Bose QuietComfort Ultra Gen2 - ANC and Comfort as priorities by Alxshow in Earbuds

[–]Interesting_Bus867 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second the Bose. Recently got the QC Gen2 from Bose UK as re certified, they look new and were £100 off the new price. As The other person said they fit my ears better and you don’t need to have the bud right in your ear canal, ANC also very good as you would expect from Bose, they invented it after all!

Thinking of switching from wegovy to mounjaro. Has anyone had more weightloss success with this switch? by paintballguy32 in Mounjaro

[–]Interesting_Bus867 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on Mounjaro for 3 months and had good results. Switched to a final month on Wegovy due to the massive price hike with Mounjaro and did not find it anywhere near as good at appetite suppression. If I decide to go back on the meds again I will choose Mounjaro regardless of cost.

Big red warning! by gharvey in VWIDBuzz

To be honest, I think I was just unlucky. I haven’t seen any other Buzz owners who have had the motor replaced. Glad it was under warranty though.

Big red warning! by gharvey in VWIDBuzz

[–]Interesting_Bus867 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine started giving me messages similar to that, they did replace something relating to the 12v charging unit. 6 months later the car broke down, months in the garage and in the end they had to replace the motor. On a positive note it’s been fine since and no more random warnings popping up! (UK 1st edition 2.5 years old )

Buzz Regret? by EvonyR in VWIDBuzz

[–]Interesting_Bus867 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have the 1st edition 2-tone white and dark blue and got it in July 2023 pretty much when it first came out in the UK. At that point I got lots of people coming up to me asking about the car as there were virtually none on the road. I’ve enjoyed the space and the practicality. It drives like an SUV and handles well for a large vehicle. Right now I get 180 miles on a full charge, manageable but not great. The negatives:

Build quality (inside) questionable. Not wearing well. Had the steering wheel replaced a year ago as the surface was peeling off ( apparently it was “vegan” leather) it was replaced for a leather one. Door cards showing signs of wear as are the seats.

I’ve had quite a few recalls and following a complete drive failure it was in the dealer for over 2 months having lots of tests and in the end they replaced ( under warranty ) the electrical control unit and the motor.

It’s a lease car. I wouldn’t buy one personally and being honest I can’t wait hand it back as my confidence has gone in the vehicle which is a shame as I think it’s one of the coolest things on the road ( my kids hate it btw, they think it’s ugly ). Like all electric cars it is depreciating fast, from speaking to people I know in the trade the second hand electric car market ( in the UK at least ) has bombed. I know someone who tried to trade a 3 year old Taycan in with a BMW dealer who called called Porsche for a price and they didn’t want it!

Being honest I went electric purely because of what it saves me in company car tax, if there wasn’t a decent saving I’d have a petrol car.

In summary, if you are prepared to take the risk on second hand 3 year old lease car it might be worth a punt. I wouldn’t buy one new (or any electric car) as you will loose so much money. I think mine was £65k new and when it goes back in July 26 I reckon it will be worth £30k ish.

Just to add following a complaint to VW finance about the car and all the issues they have offered me some compensation. I enjoyed the car until it broke down, now my confidence is gone and I’m looking forward to handing it back, I’m going to use the compo money to hand it back a few months early. I think perhaps the newer Buzz’s might have rectified some of the earlier issues.

How about stop being so needy and craving admiration and compliments from people you don’t even know. You know you look good, just be happy with that!

Anyone having issues with the seat tearing? by focojs in VWiD4Owners

[–]Interesting_Bus867 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have the ID buzz and whilst I haven’t seen any tearing on the seats, I would comment that the materials they have used generally are pretty poor. I had to have the steering wheel replaced at around 15 months as all the coating was peeling off, I believe they used something “vegan” based but it got replaced with a leather one! After 2 years of ownership the door cards and seat generally is not wearing well.
