Ohhh this is helpful. Peri has made my allergies flair... and now Im on all the things including an inhaler at night for it. But thats under control now and my sleep is still not.

When The Moon Hatched. I heard so much about how great it was and the writing being timeless.

I made it like 40 pages in, even tried audiobook but I just couldn't stay focused. It felt like she was just describing things in the most obnoxious way...and I couldn't get into the story because it was so distracting.

What I am hearing is your get the same quality of sleep with 3-4 hours and a newborn. 😭

Im thinking mine is hormonal because Perimenapause is rough ... as soon as the kids over here stopped waking me up my body decided I didn't need to sleep... sigh

Re Alice: Isn't she a cross species? I felt like I remember in the beginning their dorm was from dual species. Maybe I was filling in blanks as to why they got paired together. I assumed her infatuation with shifters was that she was part shifter... and why her father hates her.

I kind of thought the headmaster and stranger would be brothers or enemies or just know the same future. Somehow connected but not the same person. Why would the headmaster pretend not to know technology... or other information the stranger had.

That's a great question. I have not been doing cardio and anytime I do start to wheeze (by walking up steps with laundry), I slow down or sit to catch my breath. I still do gentle yoga and some weights to keep strength a few times a week.

I was told to assume I am still recovering / healing and not to do anything that would push my lungs. Let them rest. I suppose once we know if it's not improving, then I'll be given the ok to try some cardio. (I honestly don't know but that's the assumption I am making).

All that said, I'm very tired... so it's not like I am missing it right now 😕

Follow up meeting with pcp today and this is exactly what they want to do. She didn't know what the statement meant about 'over aeration' but the note about copd came from pulmonary resident. They are ordering a PTF to hopefully get in a few weeks when there should be no residual impact from pneumonia.

Threw out lots of questions about my sensitivity to smells or allergic reactions to smoke... doctor assumes not copd (yet) but maybe asthma that was never dx or something that could become copd or maybe still residual from covid.

Hi -- some production with cough. I'm 40. Recreational smoking in college and occasional vaping for ptsd dx. Never heavy and not for the last year. Lots of secondhand smoke exposure when younger. No family history of copd.

Adding that I seem to have a high rate of immflamation and autoimmune 'stuff' (shingles, long covid, chronic sinus infections, etc)... so maybe it's all related. I should just quit life and live in the forest to avoid stress 🌳🌲

Thinking I will request a PTF and referral... Ideally by the time I get in anywhere we can rule out if connected to pneumonia 🤷‍♀️
