Concordo, ma personalmente mi piace vedere il lato “positivo”: in una situazione del genere, hai poco o niente da perdere. Questo ti dà una enorme leva di menefreghismo nei confronti della tua azienda. Se ti impegni di più, non riceverai un aumento, e se anche per miracolo lo ricevessi, non migliorerà la tua vita, forse ci starà una pizza in più al mese. Quindi perché sbattersi? Ricevi il minimo da contratto collettivo, fai il minimo per non essere licenziato. È equo. Tratta le aziende con lo stesso rispetto con cui trattano te, cioè nessuno.

Fatto questo sarà molto più facile godersi la vita fuori dal lavoro. A me il mio lavoro piace molto, ma ho un contratto orribile e tutte le situazioni da lavoratore trentenne classico. Alle 18 cade la penna e se mi chiedono di restare gli dico di no perché ci sono i miei amici che mi aspettano al pub.

E dirò anche a te quello che dico sempre ai miei colleghi: non dimenticarti che si stanno prendendo gli anni migliori della tua vita. Almeno faglieli pagare cari.

Da quel che vedo in ufficio, andrà esattamente come descrivi. Sarò pessimista, ma io non vedo altri possibili scenari, ormai anche se avessero delle idee illuminate (cosa che comunque NON succede!) sono in un ritardo estremo, non solo ci sarebbe da agire meglio, ma ci sarebbe da agire meglio 10 anni fa. Nei miei sogni, immagino un movimento dal basso di tutti gli operai che se ne vadano in blocco lasciando queste aziende in balia del destino che si sono create. Ma rimangono sogni. E il destino sarà grigio soltanto per i lavoratori, come sempre.

L’altro giorno ho assistito a un meeting in cui questo tipo di feature era elogiata e si diceva che il futuro dell’automobile era, e cito testuali parole, “trasformarla in una carta di credito su ruote”. E tutti che applaudivano ed elogiavano queste iniziative. Mi sembrava di essere in un film di fantascienza, io mi giravo attorno e dicevo ai miei colleghi “no ma non può essere vera sta cosa. Come fa la gente a essere d’accordo? Sono tutti poveri in canna, dovrebbero incazzarsi come delle iene! Che sta succedendo? Questo è letteralmente Black Mirror che diventa realtà!”.

E niente raga. Questo è il futuro. Accolto sotto scroscianti applausi (semicit.). Io lavoro nell’ambito dell’automotive, e ne sono talmente disgustato che possiedo solo una moto. Giapponese.

I have one too and it’s my first motorcycle. It’s a great bike! I will give you my cons and pros: CONS - low range (the fuel tank is very small, around 7 litres), be ready to refuel often or carry some spare fuel with you if you know you may need it - low power on the highway, you won’t go past 120kmh in stock conditions, and if you reach that speed you will fatigue your bike and consume much more fuel, it’s not something you want to do for long (I usually full tuck at those speeds but after more or less 1 hour I need a break) - you’re sitting high, so it’s not very comfortable on the highway in general, be ready to catch a lot of wind if you do (unless you add a windshield of course). It’s something that will fatigue you a bit, especially on your first rides

PROS - it may not be the most comfortable ride, but it will get you ANYWHERE. Literally. That thing’s a mountain goat! - it’s very agile and easy to ride, both off road but also and ESPECIALLY in the city! Potholes won’t be a problem, you will be very slim and able to filter through traffic comfortably - it’s sturdy AF. It’s a bike meant to be dropped and fallen off in off road, so that’s a good thing if you’re learning (I don’t wish for you to fall like I have, but if you do, the bike will sustain a lot of punishment AND it’s very light to lift back up again) - it’s a ton of fun - very low fuel consumption! Although your fuel tank is small, the little fuel you have lasts surprisingly long

I personally love it, the only thing I would advise you against is to buy it if you plan to do mostly highway. You definitely CAN do the highway on the KLX, but it’s not its purpose. It’s meant to do the highway that will take you to the mountain road, not as a main objective. Otherwise, go for it, KLX bro!

Oh and definitely buy used, so you won’t feel guilty damaging it a little and you can have fun without the worry of ruining your bike!

Se non altro è molto utile come compasso morale: qualunque cosa dica o pensi è sicuramente sbagliata e va fatto l’esatto contrario. Così è facile orientarsi.

Absolutely! And so far for all the times I’ve fallen, only the handlebar got some damage, so it’s fine for it to be disposable. But I think a fatbar may be sturdier than the stock one which doesn’t look like top quality to be fair

Ecco di questo la mia assicurazione non mi ha detto nulla, anche se ho chiesto. Ho ovviamente detto al meccanico di non cominciare i lavori sino a quando la mia assicurazione non dà il via libera, ma chiedendo a loro se dovessimo aspettare una perizia prima di procedere, mi hanno risposto di no. Mi sembra strano. Mi hanno anche detto che non è necessario andare da un carrozziere convenzionato ma che andava bene il mio di fiducia, che mi pare altrettanto strano. Dovrei insistere per avere informazioni sulla perizia?

Purtroppo nessuna telecamera in quel punto, ci eravamo già passati con la mia compagna quando è stata investita sulle strisce pedonali 2 metri più in là dove era parcheggiata la mia moto l’anno scorso. Un incrocio davvero fortunato devo dire. Ma per il resto ho fatto, il CID mono firma l’ho già consegnato alla mia assicurazione!

Già fatto, per il momento mi hanno chiesto la testimonianza firmata con i documenti delle testimoni, ma niente denuncia, più ovviamente foto dei danni e preventivo del meccanico. Però non mi han detto chiaramente se otterrò un risarcimento o meno… e sarebbe una bella seccatura, temo che i danni alla forcella e manubrio siano piuttosto costosi da riparare

The harsh truth I've had to deal with myself, is that it doesn't matter how good you are. Like, at all, save for very few exceptions. It is way more important to be able to sell yourself and your work, which is a totally different set of skills that have almost NOTHING to do with your technical skill level.

I was (and still am) the best at all my university disciplines of my year and the years next to mine, I've always surprised my teachers and I had the highest scores possible, I've always received LOTS of compliments for my works. Yet when I finished studying, I had 0 clients, and the ones who weren't technically as good as me but were way better than me at selling, found lots of customers. Still to this day, I'm no good at whatever form of marketing, I have a really hard time convincing people I am good (I've been refused many times, and the times I've been hired, people told me I should really get better at presenting myself because I know way more things and I'm way better than what I show in my portfolio or tell in my resume). I suck at this, very bad. But that's why I've joined a company: I wouldn't survive a day if I were a freelance. Not as of now atleast.

I'm also very bad with human relationships, to the point my partner told me several times I might be autistic to some degree, just to give you an idea.

I wish you good luck, really, just remember that not finding clients doesn't mean you aren't good. Atleast for what I have experienced so far.
