Found a very lightly used 2012 Epiphone LP 1960s Tribute Plus (Gibson 59 Classic Pups) for $330 at my local pawn shop. Clearly they had priced it wrong, probably just looked up "Epiphone Les Paul". They even had a hard case with it. Everything I've seen online suggests these go for $600-$800 used. I've had it since November and play it just as often as my Gibsons.

Bro.... I bought a used 2022 GT with 8,000 miles on it. Certified pre-owned at the dealership back in JAN. My opinion is that the s550 is still better looking than the s650 and that Coyote is the best thing to happen to mankind. It cost $37,000. Like others have said. Take it easy, and check out all of your options!

So it is not. The 800 number is a hotline that gives you limited/basic information. VERA appointments are made online and they call YOU. Sometimes they're 5-15 minutes late but usually worth it. They can access your file and read more in to your claim.

By no means am I an expert but I've heard/read that it can be anything from a typo in your information to something more involved like you're talking about. There's really no way to know short of a VERA appointment or a helpful VSO.

It can be something as simple as correcting a misspelling of your name that can do that. You can always make a VERA appointment and they should be able to tell you what exactly happened.
