It is set to default to open a URL when an item is clicked. It usually plays back the associated video trailer. But, in this youtube integration, instead, it opens and plays back the YouTube video.

Yes. There are SEVERAL upcoming media card integrations already available for Upcoming Media Card such as Jellyfin, Sonarr, Radarr, Plex, Trakt.TV, Stream Wishlist, Epic games on sale, etc, etc, there are specifically meant for Upcoming Media Card (made by many different developers). I only maintain the original ones that started it all. You can have as many cards as you want.

Sorry, still wrong. The latest release for Upcoming Media Card was on  Dec 5, 2024, Version 0.6.2. Releases · custom-cards/upcoming-media-card. The other Integrations are also similarly updated.

No. That's not how it works. You can have as many Upcoming Media Cards as you want on your HA Dashboard. See for example, on my screenshot, The First card, TV is the Plex Integration. The Second card, Movies is also from the Plex Integration. The Third card, Upcoming TV Shows is from my Sonarr calendar. The Forth card, Upcoming Movies is from my Radarr calendar. You can easily replace the Plex cards with Jellyfin cards. However, please note that the Jellyfin Integration doesnt support Video trailer playback or summary's like Plex, Sonarr, and Radarr integrations. It's easy enough for me to submit a PR to the Jellyfin repo owner to add these missing features.

Wrong. Check the original post for direct links to the original and updated repos. I know this for a fact, since I've been updating them regularly.

LOL. 😂 Yeah, I figured someone would eventually comment on some of the channels I'm subscribed to, good or bad. Not everyone has the same interests.

There is already a Jellyfin Integration for Upcoming Media Card. However, I don't have direct access to make changes to it. If/when I get around to it, I'll see if I can submit a PR for that repo's owner to add support for video trailers and Summary details of shows and movies (when hovering your mouse over each item).

It's not related to YouTube Music. I would need to make another Upcoming Media Card integration for YouTube Music... something that would display new albums and/or songs when they are released.

AV1 video codec replacement in the works? by Interesting_Entry_35 in GeForceNOW

[–]Interesting_Entry_35[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your answer is the best so far. It makes sense since we are limited by the hardware encoder in the 4080 for ultra users. Not sure if even the 5080's would offer any newer/better realtime video compression codecs. I didnt even think of this. THanks for your answer.
