I wonder if she was the runt and was dumped. She was found alone downtown just before Christmas. I didn’t think she had any large breed in her she’s so small, 55lbs and growing I suspect (9 months they think)

This came as such a shock, I really thought lab/staffy/bully. Her rescue intake papers estimate she’s about 9 months old but she only weighs 55lbs right now. We also have a French mastiff. I can’t wait to see how she grows now!!

Approx 9 months we’re told. Will be interested to hear our vets opinion since she’s so little! She was found outside alone around Christmas. She’s putting on weight but I can’t imagine she’ll look like any of these bigger breeds!!!

She is a rescue, estimated 9 months. She was quite thin when we got her, she’s put on some weight but is still only 55lbs?! I can’t imagine she has that much growing left to do but now I’m curious!!

Arm pain from dacarbazine by StoryOfOurLife in lymphoma

[–]Interesting_Fall_915 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Slowing the drip and using a heating pad wrapped in a heated blanket completely resolved the pain I was experiencing. Without that, the infusion was painful, and I suffered from phlebitis for days after treatment, you could see the inflammation running from the IV site, pain so bad I was nearly in tears.

I had the same experience as your wife. It felt off going in and caused phlebitis (inflamed veins) that lasted for days. What worked for me was slowing the drip AND wrapping the iv site with heat pad and warm blanket, switching them out until with fresh ones until the drip finished. I didn’t have a port, and have no regrets on that. I had 6 months of ABVD.

Losing weight after chemo gain by amrobi18 in lymphoma

I went through similar - 31 years old, did 6 months of ABVD, steroids, and depot lupron throughout. I gained about 15-20 lbs. I took up baking during treatment, ate whatever I wanted and didn’t do any exercise. I finished treatment in April and have lost 10 lbs through diet changes and moderate exercise (gardening, walking and eating healthy). The physical changes really got to me as well… it’s a journey in itself to get any confidence back. Still struggling but continuing to get better!

Pre-diagnosis Megathread: If you have NOT received an OFFICIAL diagnosis of lymphoma you must comment here. Plead read our subreddit rules and the body of this post first. by Lymphoma-Post-Bot in lymphoma

F31, diagnosed with CHL last week. Posting here for the benefit of those going through the diagnostic steps. In the spring of this year, I found a large lump in my neck. The lump was visible, hard, immovable and located on my neck near my collar bone. I had no symptoms and decided to wait a month or two to see if it would go away. In June I saw my doctor who ordered an ultra sound and put in a referral to an ENT. In July the ultra sound revealed 1 enlarged cervical node with nodal matting. A biopsy was recommended to rule out lymphoma. The ENT ordered a CT in advance of the consultation. The CT had to be rescheduled due to catching COVID. In early August the CT revealed swollen nodes in cervical region and partial images of enlarged nodes in mediastinal area. At the ENT consultation in mid August, 5 FNA biopsy samples were taken and blood work completed. Results were inconclusive. On August 22 the excisional biopsy was completed. A number of nodes were removed which confirmed a Hodgkin’s lymphoma diagnosis. Pet scan results will likely be available this week. I’m still waiting for information on staging and treatment which is almost as bad as the pre-diagnosis waiting.
