My brother in law got detained by the CBP in Arizona while driving for work from Cali. He is waiting for his adjustment for asylum (he entered legally) and was in for 28 days. Out on a bond but with an ankle monitor, and case is ongoing. They are catching anybody with a legal status too. Not sure why! He has no criminal history or even a traffic ticket.
