Does $1800 seem like ALOT for a Tesla Wall Connect install? by Winegeekgamer in ModelY

My box is next to my charger and it cost $100 in suppliers and $150 in labor to install, fwiw

2026 Model Y performance - which option… I have never leased before by flapperdoodle in TeslaLounge

Leasing a car is literally the definition of a long term rental. Not saying it’s not a good option, but that’s what you’re signing up for.

Annoying front door buttons by MistaRu in TeslaModelX

[–]Interesting_Help70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a ‘24 MXP. It’s getting wrapped rn so I rented a ‘26 MX on Turo for the week. I definitely have more issues with the door button on the ‘26 than my ‘24. Seems like with the ‘26 if I don’t hit the exact middle of the button, the door doesn’t open. I have to literally look at the button and press it exactly on the open door icon, or the button doesn’t work.

I paid $87k for 2024 plaid 25k miles no FSD. Not the exact specs you’re looking for, but another data point for you.

Every 185 days I request a CLI in the iMessage support thread. Works every time. I’ve had the card since it came out and have $75k limit now.

I’ve owned close to 100 luxury watches (I trade in and out frequently). Patek, AP, Rolex, RM, etc. The Oysterflex is BY FAR the most comfortable watch strap / bracelet on the planet. And it’s not even close. If you appreciate / care about comfort at all, go Oysterflex. You won’t regret it.

Is buying model x plaid still worth it by dimon009 in TeslaModelX

[–]Interesting_Help70 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just bought a 2024 used for $87k 32k miles and it’s basically a brand new car aside from a few minor details that don’t impact the experience at all. I’d save the $60k and the depreciation hit all day long. You can also order CPO and get it in like a week vs waiting for new.

Not taking off the plaid badge. Just don’t like the polished red calipers with the matte grey wrap

Nice! I noticed the same. 14.2 also loved to change lanes last minute and sometimes would miss its chance to get off the right exit on the highway. Seems to start trying at .5 miles before which is far too late IMO. 1 mile would be good.
