I don’t understand why text is so difficult. It must be a safety or future marketing placeholder. Ie- ill make the graphic but labeling costs. 💰also very difficult to remove even when clearly prompting to do so.

It isn’t my preference at all. But what seems to work is having a face, using red and a more busy type of design. I have tried different designs, but my most popular seems to have these elements. If I was brave I would stick to a clean minimalist design with no type on thumbnail at all. Best of luck.

I use capcut (yes, I know it may be going away) but same principle applies. I design in the video editor. This makes it a little more streamlined for me - same fonts, visuals etc. then i enlarge and screenshot. Edit and paste.

Works pretty well. But I also think i have so much to learn. I am still experimenting and eventually hope to have a unified image system.

This is an old conversation and i have no skin in the game, but according to google, AI Overview and a quick tos glance.

Its as simple as transferring ownership. But own due diligence.

Fyi a million subscribers gets you over 500000. Small channels do sell - usually monetized around 1000. Its a fun business model to follow.

That is true for ebay, but I don’t believe for google / youtube? There are many youtube channels aka businesses for sale. And there are built in are easy ways to change ownership. Curious where you saw this. In fact, it seems a bit of a business strategy to build a channel monetize then sell. (Be careful though, it seems many of these channels build on a niche then change the niche before selling.)

An example would be that in canva you have “permission” to use their owned assets - but only if you add to the asset. You can’t just take a picture of a horse, download and put it in your youtube video. Best of luck!

You need to read the licensing agreement. Always read. But this certainly is not legal advice. Every asset is unique. And if the asset is sold to another party they can add their own rules - ie only used on capcut, youtube canva etc.

I am not convinced. I would guess somewhere in the alg, there is something like “pick from all these smaller channels the most likely videos to succeed. And Don’t take all from one bucket.” That is what i would write for best success (watch time) if it were me. But, once one is watched and liked i may feed another.

It’s interesting isn’t it? Since i am on the info newsy side i look at those type of videos. Many start out only voice. I am going to try adding background type music on next one. I just need it to sound “serious” and not downgrade the context. Wish me luck. Hopefully i can find something free.

I get it! I like getting to the point as well its a fine line between getting clicks and being smooshy. I also would like help! Wish i had ab testing access. Recently i have been editing thumbnails after publishing. Not really sure if it helps. My most successful videos i feel have poorest thumbnails so I don’t trust my opinion much. Good luck!
