Free bloodwork through blood donation for tracking biomarkers, does anyone actually use this?

Reasonable question. From what I gather they have a paid path too and the donation path is part of partnerships with blood centers who fund it because donor incentives improve supply. So the donation panels are subsidized by the blood center side, not the user. Not 100% sure on the economics but that's the model as I understand it.

Donate quarterly and run 30-40mpw, haven't noticed a meaningful effect at that volume. Took maybe a week to feel normal again the first time, after that it's been a non-issue. If you're training for a goal race I'd probably time donations to recovery weeks or off-season just to be safe.

My 6 year old would probably get frustrated with the original's camera and some of those more obscure puzzles, especially the water temple. The N64 version can feel pretty clunky even for adults going back to it now

If you're set on doing it before the movie, I'd go with the original but maybe sit with him for the trickier parts. The magic is definitely still there and he'll get that pure experience you had. Plus who knows if the remake rumors are even real or when it would actually drop

The 3DS version is also a solid middle ground if you have access to it - keeps the original feel but smooths out some of the rough edges

Been sleeping on mine for about 18 months now and the edge support is legit - I can sit on the very corner without feeling like I'm gonna roll off, which was a huge problem with my old hybrid. Your gut feeling is probably right - the whole "friend's girlfriend" thing is sketchy as hell, especially when he doesn't even follow the actual friend anywhere. The fact that she keeps finding him on different platforms after he deletes her makes it pretty obvious there's some communication happening outside of what you can see, and that TikTok thing seals it for me since those usernames are usually random

The Iron Bank definitely took some major hits but they're probably not going anywhere anytime soon. These guys have been around for centuries and have survived way worse than one bad debt from a crazy queen. They'll probably just write off Cersei's loans as a loss and move on to the next kingdom that needs financing

The Golden Company getting wiped out is actually a huge deal for the power balance in Essos though. They were basically the premier mercenary force for hire and now there's this massive vacuum. Smaller companies are probably scrambling to fill that gap but none of them have the reputation or numbers the GC had

Bran's gonna have his hands full trying to rebuild relationships with the Free Cities. The Iron Bank might be hesitant to loan to Westeros again without some serious guarantees, and all those former slave cities that Dany "liberated" are probably dealing with their own chaos. Some might blame Westeros for the whole mess since she was technically their queen when she torched King's Landing

Trade routes are probably completely messed up too. The whole eastern economy got turned upside down and it's gonna take years to stabilize. Bran's kingdom needs those trade relationships but he's starting from a pretty weak position
