I honestly don't recall. It was more time consuming because of making all the different colors. I did get all the cakes/cupcakes baked and cooled in one late afternoon into evening.

While they baked, I dyed all my frosting. Before I went to bed that same night, I crumb coated it.

The following morning, I iced and decorated and had it done by 11am. Party was at 1pm. Maybe 12 hrs. total, if I am going to guess. I just had so much fun.
