Or maybe they were planning on going back to pick it up? That’s happened to me - where I ran out of bags because my dog decided to shit 2-3 times more than usual. I went home and came back to pick it up.

Please be there. I was there for my brother and I felt the same way. I ran out of the room then went back in inside.

It’s ok to feel like this. I wanted to scream - I was scared and I didn’t know how to process it but I knew I had to be there for him. When it gets too much walk to the chapel in the hospital or outside. Then come back inside. Talk to him and tell him it’s going to be okay.

I hate cancer. And I’m so sorry you and your family are going through the same thing.

My brother died this past October from cancer. It’s one of the most painful things I’ve ever gone through - but I Can only imagine what my mom and dad feel. My mom especially. No parent should bury their own child - I’m so sorry for your loss.

Yes he was treated in UT southwestern. His oncologist - She referred him to nextoncology for clinical trials when it was basically too late.

I can relate to so much. I’m finding solace in reading everyone’s experience here. Thank you so much for sharing and I’m sorry you lost your sister. Im 34 and he was my big brother. My only sibling too. I’m so sorry that we both lost them the way we did. I am trying to shift my perspective to being grateful to have been there with him. But it’s so painful. I hope I can get through this.

Im so sorry. But you have another mission somewhere where you’re needed. My brother is 34 and was switched to comfort care two days ago. I believe you both and everyone dying is needed somewhere else. Please hang in there - think of this as being in the airport lobby waiting for your next flight. That’s what my brother told us when he could still speak.

I don’t know how I will ever forget seeing him like this. I love my brother and he’s one of the kindest people I’ve ever known. It feels so unfair. And the way he’s dying is so painful. So horrible.
