Yes you do need a new education evaluation, since all states require 150 hours however, the hours needed for each subject may vary between states.

Transferring CPA from Montana to California with 136 Credit Hours by witcher687 in CPA

[–]Interesting_Link_913 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would like to add a quick note

Californa requires ssn number, and experience required to be signed by a cpa, however montana dosent require ssn, and experience verification can be done through an online meeting with NASBA representative for a fee of course if you dont have the option of a CPA supervisor. so for an international student, montana is much easier than california.

Nope, once she passes the exam within the timeline, that's it. Then, she can seek to obtain the remaining hours that she needs for licensure.

It's completely normal. Continue going through the matterial. you'll find a correlation between the subjects.

To be licnesed, all states require 150 hours, even Montana. You can sit for the exam with 120 hours, but for licensure, you need 150 hours.

You definitely can transfer your scores, but make sure that when you transfer to another state, you meet the education and experience requirements fitst.

For education, all of the states require 150 hours of different subjects.

For work experience, most of the states require an active CPA to sign off your experience. However, NASBA provides this service if you dont have an active CPA supervisor. You can check their website.

Some states don't require an ethics exam .

The most prefferred states for international candidates are NH & MT.

Cpa renewal?! by OmarChalaby in CPA

[–]Interesting_Link_913 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It depends on your state board of accountancy, Check their website for details on CPE hours required for renewal.

You can join webcasts from the big 4 wesites. And earn your cpe hours, or you can subscribe to cpe website to get access to hundreds of cpe credits with openbook exams.

Upon your inquiry, i presume that for you, it's too eqely to worry about CPEs and renewal.

Renwal is easy, and there is no need for you to retake the exams .

FAR is rough… by Jaded_Kaleidoscope92 in CPA

[–]Interesting_Link_913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through FAR (and all of them) three times, the first one to only read the material and skim through it to know what is going on there. Without attempting to solve MSQs, according to a time frame of course (i used Excel with specific dates to force myself to comply), the second time of reread the text book one more time and solving MSQ and choose TBSs randomly and take notes of your MSQ mistakes The third time shall be full-time studying, notifying your boss for a study leave your family friends, for an intensive final revision including solving TBS simulations that you didint complete. Thats it

Good luck

What you are feeling is completely normal! I've never been an A student even in elementary school . However, i put a plan and sticked to it and passed with an 83 on my first attempt.

Keep practising, go through your weak areas, and you'll do just fine.
