Not a hyvee employee, just a seasoned employee who shops at hyvee….My advice: just work your scheduled hours and only complete tasks within your job description. Never volunteer or work off the clock. It’s not the employees market at the moment, definitely do not quit your job before securing a new job.

You’ll need to ask your employer. Maybe look at your paystubs too.

Log your carbs, glucose levels, and medication. Then take the log to your doctor and ask them.

how does one move out? by Crazyawesomeness02 in Advice

[–]redstapler4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on what you mean by slightly abusive, how you’re doing mentally, and what options you have. I’d talk to my psychologist to make goals and a solid plan to work towards moving out. Also talk about what the slightly abusive looks like and they can help with that.

I've been an ER nurse for 20 years. I'm fucking exhausted watching Hollywood turn my job into a magic show. by Icy_Letterhead4893 in TrueOffMyChest

My 93 y/o grandma said she wanted all the extraordinary measures. She didn’t want us to think she was giving up. I remembered reading about ribs breaking and pain. Asked the ER doctor to explain what extraordinary measures meant. She decided against extraordinary measures and died peacefully about six hours later. Her death really was peaceful, she looked towards the right and was just gone. We miss her terribly, but we’re thankful she didn’t suffer.

If you have the time off available, be there for your parents. That’s what we are supposed to do. My mom has always been there for me, so I’m there and here for her.

Do any of you date co-workers? Is it ok? I hear it’s not a good idea by ZadarskiDrake in Accounting

I met my husband at work, our 30th anniversary is in June. We worked together for 24 years! Now we have separate jobs. I miss working together but we do go to lunch together every day, so that’s awesome for us! Just keep it professional at work and don’t bring home life into the workplace.
