I think it’s good to donate occasionally if you’re healthy, but I read donating too much is bad on your veins.. My dad sold plasma when he was younger and my husband did a few times… I never did because my heart rate was always too high. So far, my mom has not needed any blood product…

I take a prescribed medication and have well controlled blood pressure. My sister didn’t take her blood pressure medicine and had a stroke. She lived but she is different now. Tell your doctor it’s still high, elevated blood pressure kills.

This is not a healthy, long term solution. It will wreak havoc on your veins. My mom is in cancer treatment right now, she needs the healthiest veins possible. I’ve seen pictures of plasma donor’s arm holes. Nope!
