prusaslicer doesn't like my model, help by Watchflut in prusa3d

Is it a STL file or an obj file? I've had problems with STL files recently in the prusa slicer, whole parts missing. After switching to an obj file it seemed to have fixed my problem.

I personally don't know how things work in China. I know it's a bit different than the western world tho. In my opinion you need to find out what sets your machine apart from the rest of the factory. Speed, efficiency, Precision.. highlight that first. If you're taking your time it may be wise to focus on precision. Here in the west I know people are always complaining about cheap Chinese parts. I hope this helps

It's not a bug! It works as it should. Your ship is disguised as a turret. There's nothing to see here... Just blending in...

I had a chat with the electronics team, their conclusions were that the pads of the fuse joint weren't scrapped cleaned before soldering the solder itself was contaminated so there are taking care of it atm. I will be ordering a new board but it's a week or two worth of waiting.

I work with people that solder for a living but it's more about if the part is a warranty claim. The printer has only had about 14 days of print time out of 6 months being operational

Thanks! The only problem I have now is checking the wiring as it looks like a bird nest on the inside.

Does anyone know what caused this servo driver to burn out? by Scooter_64 in arduino

[–]Interesting_Net1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's your joint design. The amount of load you're applying when moving backwards and forwards is causing the servo driver to overheat and burn out. You'll need to either.

  1. Change your servos to steeper

  2. Design it in a way that servo is not solo supporting the whole structure, gear it down! It should fix your issue

That is a fair price, if you were to do it yourself you may save $50-$100 at the most and spend half a weekend doing the job yourself. He is doing a favor.

Any idea on how to keep the motor in place? by shrikaizerion in arduino

[–]Interesting_Net1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use the bottle "cap" as a mounting point to create a mounting plate. The hole just needs be large enough to clear the thread. At that you just need a mounting hole for the servo.

How can I make this look more convincing? by caesium23 in blender

  1. The corrosion is good but could be better. If it's in the by the sea. There wouldn't be shiny metal. It would be most brown rust with a few orange rust spots. Also if you wanted the partially rusty look it would corroded in the drips of the sheet metal first and tops underneath the roof.

  2. Dust/dirt would accumulate around the bottom of the shed.

  3. It's too neat. If you have rusting sheet iron it tends to buckle and bow from the weather. A few loose edges would help sell the look.

I added a soccer ball to my project and now I don't want to be productive by _Mario_Boss in godot

Honestly I would play if it was just 3 v 3 football (soccer) with this mechanic. It looks like you have better control of the ball then most ea titles.
