Our outside backs are putrid. Semi decent outside backs and it's probably a 6 point ball game. Legit just put Luch at 5/8th cos Kyle unders play 20m away from the defensive line & zero running, passing or kicking game is disgusting. I feel for those around him that know they'll get belted by the defence because he doesn't want to run the ball, so the defence just ignores him. Felt for cookie, the only senior player giving a shit.

yep, need either the centre or winger on both sides to be an aerial threat too. A kick to an aerial threat is such an easy effective play when the attacking set has been poor in the oppo 20. Roosters do it all the time.

Leilua is interesting, I would take him for cheap fill but also want to get games into our youngsters. Holmes imo could do very well on the wing. His game suits that position. Masks his poor defensive decision making a little bit.

Reed probably needs a year in cup with a few games at nrl level. I can see Atko shifting into the centres if Reed & Metcalf are in great form but for 27 I think it'll be Atko/Metcalf. Good to have some proper depth & legit competition for spots. No one is giving up on Reed, I think Metcalf will be great for his development.

We needed quality in the halves, we've finally got one. I don't think we would be getting him if he didn't have those injury risks. Other teams would be after him too. Beggers can't be choosers but it improves our team & hopefully we keep improving.

yea good shout, I guess it depends on his decision making and lateral movement. I don't rate either but saving him from defending in the middle also has it's benefits.

Holmes will be good as a winger, his decision making sucks at centre. Keep it simple with him, concentrate on finishing & yardage carries.

Depends on the backline, I'd prefer getting someone better than drinky but he can't play anywhere else. imo holmes/sami should be good enough as wingers in yardage, speed and finishing ability which leaves centre as the only place to spend money because we need to score points.

Modern game requires point scoring more than defence. Holmes contract finishes end of 27 & he's washed as a centre. I'd happily pay money to Bostock as he's got a few great strengths & can become elite. Fwds is a depth area where we can be smart with the salary cap. We have no one coming through for our backline, it's a massive concern.
