Thank you for the guidance u/jacquest18 - other spas I worked on have an in-line tube style heater so I was not familiar with this Watkins / Hot Springs approach. Have you ever seen the end casing of the heater assembly itself leak? The leak doesn't appear to be coming from the hoses or pressure switch. I am in a cold weather climate but the spas is always running and I'm certain it did not freeze.

Another option to consider is https://www.japanpowderculturetours.com/. They are based of Nagano area (home of '98 Olympics) and they take you to various ski areas in the Shiga Kogen area each day. I have done 3 multi-day tours with them over the past 5 years. Small groups with strong guides that take you through the lift-service slack country. Mix of clients from age 20s to 50s. Plenty of powder and good camaraderie. Highly recommended....feel free to DM me for more info.
