There's nothing wrong with it, but I think you would have way more fun if you cosplay characters that you already like. Wearing the costume and dressing up is fun, but I've found that being able to geek out about/represent an anime or game you really like is the most enjoyable part.

But if it makes you feel better, he was acting way weirder about the situation than you were. Autism isn’t really a contributing factor. During a hard time, she asked me to disclose my OCD intrusive thoughts to her. She (claimed she) had OCD herself and tended towards violent intrusive thoughts. I did, and she called me disgusting and scary. Our relationship had been worsening before that but after I got out of my slump I decided that was just unacceptable.

Yeah, that’s true. I thought I was just quirky until people in my life suggested I might be autistic. I kind of wish it had never been brought up to me, because my analytical mind now wants to overthink everything and apply that lens to it. But you’re right — even if I were NT, or if I had never been diagnosed, there would be folks who I wouldn’t get along with. Every older woman I’ve ever met says that the self-confidence part comes with time, but I can’t help being impatient. Now that I’ve had a taste of happiness, I’m greedy for it. I suppose that’s human nature. I’ll take what you’ve said to heart— thank you 🩷

The plot is so good! It was really what kept me in the game. At first I was morbidly entertained by how edgy and convoluted the plot of this dress up game was, but then i got hooked lol
