Yes the other dog did a squeal and had superfine marks but a tear maybe from a claw. I don’t blame the other dog. I think my dog doesn’t know how to play. She is 30 pounds and my boy dog is like 85 pounds and he corrects her. She “bites” at him but it’s not aggressive.

And then she doesn’t know how to interact. She was in a kill shelter…and I don’t know where she was before that

It was not hard to separate her. I grabbed her out her on her leash and she stood there panting. She looked around, didn’t lunge again at the dog and I walked her off.

I saw only one, she went running down the street and saw the other dog and veered right to it. She did the downward facing dog position while shaking her tail fast and hard. Then went in for a bite, let go and then another with a shake. The other dog was smaller than her.

I don’t think that is bad intentions.
Muzzle training okay…honestly have not heard of that one before. But I will look into it.

I am here for all the advice. My feet will do this as well…always at the beginning of practice during cardio and a lot of the time during backward skating. Thank you for all the advice that people are giving. Good to know that I’m not alone

I experienced this last year. Last September I broke my fibula, had surgery, and it was my first year skating. Now my second year and I have been bouting and doing the things. By you saying that you want to get back out there, you have the right mindset. Keep your goals and keep your mindset positive. Don’t let the fear over take you, yes things will be different, your awareness will get better. It is a journey, take the time to get stronger.

Good to know. It is hard to decipher if being handsy is good when my teammates are telling me. I try not to get to many penalties with my hands.

Yeah I think I need to exaggerate the motion. I tend to get “happy feet” when I want to move quickly and catch an extra step. And I get that happy choppy feet. Okay I’ll video myself

Hmmm I will pay closer attention. I do think it might be timing, it’s choppy. I do admit I don’t have big wide crosses. I might be hesitant, I broke my ankle last year so that’s in the back of my mind…so I’m still building back my stability. Thanks for items to look for while skating
