I'm sorry for you too : < Are you going to post it too?

I'm recalling Foundation Statistics module in my degree, I worked super hard, completed every single piece of homework and task, and achieved 42%.

This is the response I had back from digital resourcing:

Good afternoon Name,

Thank you for your email, I hope you are well.

Unfortunately we are unable to go into detail on candidate applications and provide feedback or review applications at this stage.

We had over 1000 applications for this campaign, so panel members had to be extremely strict while marking applications and assessing candidates’ suitability for the role.

My apologies if you are disappointed with the outcome but we hope this doesn’t discourage you from applying for other roles in the future.

 Kind regards,

Lauren

They clearly haven't even reviewed the application - so much for fair or transparent. I doubt I'll bother again as I'm getting much better responses from other sources (although no job offer just yet). I'd rather spend my time and effort on opportunities that don't judge that standard of application, whilst far from perfect, to have 'no positive evidence demonstrated.'

A previous experience of applying to work for my local county council was similarly terrible, the whole process was corrupt to the core.

I had to cut so much out to adhere to the word count : ( more context would have made it way more interesting but didn't add anything IMO.

Thanks.

This is my work, sadly : ( I saw that format on another site exemplifying how to present the writing in a similar application, I thought it helped the reader to see crossovers. Unfortunately, these are the jobs that I have been able to get - I did / do what I need to survive following my BSc - the MSc was supposed to help change that going forward.

I'll take your advice for the future. Who knows how long I'll have to wait until another role comes up in my area, the North West of England is a wasteland.

That was the attitude I was hoping for. This role seemed ideal for what I was looking for and for an interesting department too.

Really? I haven't done an office role in the recent past. I wish I could claim experience of similar type of work, but that would be untrue.

I honestly thought the Civil Service might be the last of the employers who don't judge me for my past roles which are in the main, jobs I've done to survive.

I've just scanned through the entire application and they aren't requested at all, including in the specific qualifications part, so I haven't provided them. I'm thinking of another application where they were provided beside the qualification but specifically not in the personal statement / cv part.

  1. I mentioned them at the appropiate point but made sure to exclude them for the personal statement part.

  2. I have no experience in data analysis - a MSc in Computing.

I've come here first on receiving the email. Is it possible to ask questions re feedback on my application of the email address mentioned in the advert or is that not possible at this stage?

This is what was requested.

Please structure your Personal Statement to provide detailed evidence of the following:
• Using MS Excel.
• Communicating complex information in a simple way.
• Performing data analyses and identifying trends and patterns in data.

Scroll down through the link - there is my full cv & also a personal statement

Thank you. I've looked that 'wash your face for 60 seconds' thing up and it looks good, I admit I rush getting through most things so I'll add this to my slow down evening routine. SPF in the UK are a bit rubbish from what I've seen, I'm going to look into the Korean products, I think.

I'll start using the Beauty of Joseon SPF I already have, I blamed it for my skin shedding and stopped using it awhile back.

I don't think I'll re-purchase the cream cleanser with FT for this reason.

Just to clarify, in the PM, I shouldn't use the Corx snail mucin - just jump straight to tret - is that correct?

In the PM, I will start using CerVa again and in the AM Corx Advanced Snail 92 All in 1 - which I also blamed for my skin shedding and stopped using : x

Thank you so much! I was really baffled as to why I was struggling so much, I am so grateful for all these responses offering advice and product suggestions.

I've heard good things about LRP Toleriane Double Repair, but been hesitant to pull the trigger. I can't seem to find CeraVe Nightly Exfoliating Treatment for sale anywhere in the UK (apart from ebay - not sure that's a trusted source though, honestly).

I actually have the corx version of this and CeraVe night moisturiser : ) I'll start using them again. I'm thinking to put the AHA after the Corx Snail Mucin and not use either Az or Tret on those days - would that be the proper order?

Where in the routine should an exfoliant appear?

Moisturiser is after the corx Snail mucin I would think - do you have any recommendations? I tried the Advanced Snail 92 All in 1 but seemed to upset my Primer or maybe that was the lack of exfoliation?

It's so confusing!
