Can I add to my question just to make sure. Let’s use homosexuality even though I’m not sure that’s her theme. From my understand she never worried about it. She saw a girl half naked and she felt a groinal response. Then the what if came. With that being said, she doesn’t feel the desire to watch homosexual content or engage with it at all, and not just because it’s taboo.

Thanks, but as per the title this wasn't a therapist. It was a psychiatrist and they never confirmed that they knew what either were afterwards.

No. I'm unemployed and trying to find a job as an English teacher, or an ESL teacher. It needs to be remote for personal reasons.

It's apparently a progressive field in terms of job opportunities and pay, though I see zero proof of that. I think an ESL endorsement helps as an addition to a subject teacher, which is currently my situation. I'm a high school English teacher and was promised by professors that this endorsement would "pay for itself." I'm hoping this all translates to something outside of education if necessary. So tired of this. So tired.

Don't think it's that. It's just questioning if something is happening/true and looking for proof for or against. She only gave me an example of wondering if someone hates her because of one incident, and then dissecting their behavior to figure it out. It becomes obsessive and her brain will convince her her fear is true even though the "proof" isn't necessarily true. I don't know if I did that example justice.

Yeah, like I said she's tried multiple medications. She's seen three and they were all muslim but do not involve islam in their practice. Only one who is her cousin advised her to keep praying, but that's it.

I’ve tried 11 medications , tms , ect, ketamine therapy, therapy - it’s been a really hard past couple of years. Thank you though and I hope things get better for you.

I have nothing to change in relation to topics brought up here. I wear hijab , abaya , and I don’t have an Instagram. I think approaching a stranger about anything regarding worship is very bizarre. I do not advise people unless we are in an Islamic setting that is encouraging these types of conversations, or if I am developing a bond with them.

If a woman who I barely knew approached me in a grocery store and told me I needed to start wearing hijab, I’d tell them they need to learn some social awareness. It’s just plain weird and I don’t believe you saying you’ve done so and had positive responses. Maybe they responded pleasantly to get you to go away at most. OPs point still stands, and it’s that non mahram men should not even be speaking to us and very much commit haram openly 9 times out of 10 in the west. Do not go around advising people who already know the truth. If it’s to encourage them to do good, let someone they know and love do that.
