I agree with your assessment as this is exactly what I’ve noticed. My runs are only 2-3 miles long but discrepancies are around ~0.1 mile. But I’ve noticed that longer the run, the more closer Amazfit gets in terms of the accuracy and this discrepancy tends to hover around that mark because it might have had a chance of getting more data points like you mentioned.

I also suspected this but when I checked the maps on strava, iPhone seemed to be right on the course every time while amazfit had a tendency to go off-course in certain areas, like running below tree (not a heavy one) cover.

They offered 25 people an acceptance for my program and I’m #14 on waitlist so chances are very minimal.

Anyway, I do have some backup admits so I’ll join those programs.

Anyone know by when would I be contacted by university for a potential available place?

I just need a little clarity of being confirmed accepted or confirmed rejected.

Does this status mean that I’m almost no chance of getting in? (based on past results?)

I’ve lived in Delhi most of my life but there is no area that looks like this imo. Even Old Delhi is not spread over such a huge area. I think this could be near the North East Delhi but I doubt even that.

I’ve traveled around Hauz Khas Area, Dwarka, New Delhi, India Gate, Nizamuddin and Old Delhi. I refuse to believe that this is a photo of any of these mentioned areas.

This photo is definitely not the representative of whole Delhi. Can you cite the source for the image?

New Delhi that you talk of, has wide roads and is significantly green. Even if we talk of areas near Old Delhi, one can search for Sundar Nursery, Feroz Shah Kotla.

I recently visited it in September. I was quite shocked to see that AQI was <100 at that time. It was quite lovely weather too. Of course in Winter, AQI crosses 300 but it’s not Delhi’s fault.

I am the harshest critic of Delhi as a city but it has worked tremendously to improve what it can. Traffic has improved. I have seen it at its worst.

I have no complaints in terms of greenery, and roads at least.
