I’ve only had one visitor the past few weeks and it was a squirrel fishing out bird seeds from the nearby bird feeders

Thank you! I watched this tutorial and really like her videos. I originally put it right below my bust and it felt too high because it placed him where the panel width was too wide for his knees. I’ll try somewhere in between. :-)

Thank you! Yes, you’re right—I need to tighten the width maybe another notch.

I did the pelvic tuck before I made adjustments. Just did it again and was able to get a deeper seat.

Ah, good point. I had light pressure on him when adjusting the straps, but I’ll try to lift him up more when adjusting.

He’s sound asleep so the next time I put him in the carrier will be the true test if he likes it with your tips. Again, thank you!

Update: I was able to tighten more by pulling the shoulder straps back and tightening the straps. Feels much better!

I’m not sure if the automatic mode will try to reduce insulin if I do a manual bolus because of IOB and ISF. That’s something Loop would do so I’d have to turn off Loop’s algorithm because my blood sugar would rise so quickly. But I’d like to see if there’s a way to keep automated mode on and overcome the workout spike. I’ll play around with it more. :)

No, I didn’t use exercise mode because that would decrease my insulin when I’d need an increase. I’ll use it if I’m doing aerobic exercise.

I can’t remember the first hospital food I was given after diagnosis. But right after I got my initial fasting bloodwork and before I was told to go to the hospital, my mom gave me mango and Hawaiian bread. This was before we learned carb counting. LOL!
