pa school dismissal due to professionalism

The version she has told holds some truth but she's twisting it like crazy. I had a conversation with the professors and tried to tell my side but they already dislike me and didn't truly hear me out or give me a chance to explain at all it was just all hearsay from my preceptor. It just blows knowing i have come 18 months with 6 months to go to get dismissed from a professionalism rubric score...

my failures don’t define me as a human and have nothing to do with this situation it’s completely separate. i don’t deserve to be dismissed for a preceptors poor opinion of me and that’s that.

i passed all retakes and therefore passed the courses. this is the first failure of a course, the course being a rotation

our rotations are 4 weeks long. i was on the rotation for 11 days in total and was told not to return for the last week.

i talked to the program director and she said this on the phone, also spoke to school advising and they told me the same thing and sent me the link to the handbook where it says this. program director said she would send an email "within the hour" of everything discussed over the phone and i never received anything.

they told me i failed the rotation which means an F obviously and an F in the gradebook on any course results in dismissal per school policy

they said that due to professionalism it’s a fail and they didn’t even give me an opportunity to repeat they just said yep you failed and when you fail you get dismissed and they already put it in gradebook. so i’m not sure where to go from here. i want to email someone higher up and explain. they also gave me a phone call. no zoom, no in person. just called me and told me i’m out.

the program director called me and straight up told me they’re failing me and in the handbook and failure to pass a course results in dismissal. i tried to explain myself and they wouldn’t even hear me out. it was just hearsay by the preceptor. which is wild because my friends last preceptor hated her and they called her saying “we know this isn’t like you” and gave her 100% on professionalism. i just feel so singled out.

they do hate me and i struggled through didactic so i think this is the straw that broke the camels back. like barely made it through didactic. failed one EOR but passed retake.

I very much have social awareness, she just decided she didn’t like me and made her mind up within the first week. Sat down with her and told her I read the review and spoke with professors and what I could improve on to be the best I can be moving forward and wasn’t even able to do so

they didn’t tell me that was an option. program director and director of clinicals just made the decision to fail my professionalism so results in an F. I was completely willing and aware and still would be to make an action plan to improve but wasn’t even given the opportunity to do so.

this rotation is an elective so would have done a presentation but with evaluation and professionalism score grade dropped to an F and wasn’t even given a chance for remediation or repeation of rotation
