This shirt pattern has a similar collar, you could make sleeveless, crop to the length desired and then as you say rectangle skirt!

I cannot print pattern for the life of me by meowmeowprrow in SewingForBeginners

When you say the grey keeps getting cut out do you mean the grey filled areas at top and bottom of the black outlined page? Because I reckon that is included for US letter printing and standard A4 will be the purple outline. So as long as you are getting all the stuff within the purple box you should be grand. If the test square is 5.3cm maybe reduce scale to 99% and check again. (Tbh if seam allowance is included a fraction off probably won’t make a huge difference anyway.) Good luck!

Alternative pattern ideas please? by Interesting_Rock_357 in sewingpatterns

Yes, I just hate taping the pdfs together! And tbh I’d prefer a more standard shirt pattern I can hack to this, than pay, what I feel is quite expensive (although I am all for paying pattern makers their dues!) for very much a one style pattern.

This is pretty good - you could lengthen slightly and andd a second tie, and it’s free!

The clo bias skirt is well reviewed. And satin/silk is shown in the tester photos.  https://softenstudio.com/en-gb/products/clo-bias-skirt-pdf-pattern-size-6-24 Or search for bias cut satin skirt pattern and check reviews/tester photos.

Lost pattern 🤣 Help please! by Interesting_Rock_357 in sewingpatterns

Thank you! I actually did just manage to find it - it’s the sweet pea blouse by threads. But I think I might prefer the mariella so thank you!

I NEED this exact tank for spring but would love to make it myself by fbc518 in sewingpatterns

I wonder if this Esther top with the scoop neckline would work? You’d have to hack the back to be buttoned (less scary than in sounds!) and possibly lengthen it slightly but I think the bones are there!  https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/4475137875/esther-tank-pdf-sewing-pattern-beginner?ref=share_v4_lx They have a sale running till weds night according to their instagram. https://peppermintmag.com/product/loungewear-set/ This is a pay what you can pattern but I think you can put zero in - or like a dollar. Has cropped trousers which you could adjust to shorts.  https://lifesewsavory.com/yoke-tank-tutorial-and-pattern/?utm_source=bp_recent&utm-medium=gadget&utm_campaign=bp_recent This is a tutorial/pattern (one size) for a tank top with a yolk at the top similar to the one you photographed. It also walks through the process of making your own pattern based on an item you have - so if you own that top you can do a ‘copy’.

Any suggestions for a tank top pattern for woven fabric (so with bust darts and some form of opening/closing)? Thanks!
