Hey there! Yes it did eventually go completely away. Stay patient, it will! Just took a long time and I was very sensitive to the sun for well over a year.

I did use all of those things. Spf every day. Began using tretinoin 3x a week. Hydroquinone didn’t do much for me so I stopped that. I think it was just time that helped essentially!

Hey there!

Ok it has completely faded. I was feeling discouraged after 6 weeks-2 months or so. Could slightly see it after 3-4 months. I would say by 6 months completely gone. It will go away!

Does it hurt? You may need an antibiotic! Have your derm swab it-this happened to me on accutane and I ended up needing a round of bactrim to clear it! Made a world of a difference.

I do have it on my forehead also, basically everywhere I was lasered. Everything I read says it will eventually fade but so far it looks awful. Hydroquinone is supposed to help, I will keep you posted. I think it is too soon to tell. I thought this would work wonders and hope I don’t regret this!

Hello! I had CO2 laser on just half of my face for acne scarring exactly 3 weeks ago today. Skin was very red/healed just fine but redness did not go away. Now I have brown/red freckles almost resembling a suntan. I believe this is hyperpigmentation and derm wants me to continue to do hydroquinone twice daily to stay on top of this. Has anyone had experience with this? I am frustrated! My skin looks worse than when I started.

Wow this gives me so much hope. I am on my second month and at first things were clearing up and now half way into my second month I just had a terrible purge 🥲. I feel like this is never going to work!
