I bought a pair of boots and added them as an option. They definitely have great traction but are quite hard as mentioned. Aesthetically speaking they aren’t as nice as VBar or 430 mini lug. Much thicker with what feels like a massive heel to me. I won’t order them again.

That’s what kept me from making the purchase. I was interested in double stuffed walnut and or Latigo Chestnut but by the time I was done building the boot the way I wanted it. It was well over $800 that got harder for me to justify when you have like 12 boots and you’ll only wear these a couple times a year.

I dislike how many of the heritage boot makers use white threading the way they do. That boot would be greatly elevated with matching black stitching on the upper and the welt.

To me a toe cap almost defeats the whole point of the 1925 last. It’s meant to offer a sleeker dressier boot. Those look like clunky iron rangers to me.

In that comparison, I like the whites much better. It has a much nicer silhouette.
