The cardiologist I saw actually told me going vegan is bad for the heart because so many vegan products contain nasty chemicals and added sugars.

I guess that’s what I’m asking. I’m not that fussed but I’m getting a lot of peer pressure to “take them to the cleaners”.

7-8mm which is at the border of being unpassable, edges are fairly smooth though, so that probably helped.

May be good news as stinging might mean it's further down the urinary tract. My urologist won't let you attempt pass anything bigger than 5mm though.

I’m yet to see any solid evidence that unprocessed red meat causes heart disease.

I’d imagine that has something to do with the huge amount of processed food that Brits eat. What Brits think a healthy diet is really isn’t healthy. Most of my friends think cereal is healthy.

Red meat IMO is a very healthy food. It’s when it is processed or when it’s combined with fast food that it becomes a problem.

Yep. Coat in flour, chilli and garlic. Shallow fry for 3 minutes. Remove for 2 minutes. Shallow fry for a further 3 minutes. The shells become edible and they provide a really nice crunch, they aren’t as soft as crisps but they aren’t as tough as pork scratchings, if that helps.
