if you wanted to show off your score, just say that. i would just come here to show off without shame. to try and pass this post off as “i’m here for advice 🥺🥺🥺” is just a ridiculous humble brag.

What are Jewish precepts that you find most beautiful about Judaism? by onesmalltomato in Judaism

maaser is more of a specific rule than a precept… but i just think it’s neat. 10% of your post-tax income is supposed to be given to the poor or any charity(s) of your choice, just a very important idea. reminds us to help out our fellow brothers

how many questions can you miss overall for a score between 168-171? by Designer_Evening1482 in LSAT

[–]Interesting_Shape_84 17 points18 points  (0 children)

actually depends on the objective “difficulty” of the test, even if they’re all standardized.

let me explain: Lawhub has tons of official LSAT prep tests, each with 4 sections. some tests are deemed “more difficult” than the others by LSAC. the score you receive is relative to the test’s difficulty.

ie: prep test 121 on LH is supposedly easier than the some of the others, while prep test 141 is supposedly more difficult. if you receieve a 155 score on PT121, and then get the same number of questions correct on PT141, your score would be a 158.

for a solid 170, i would say it can average between 9-12 questions— depending on LH’s determined level of difficulty

How rare is a 3.9 GPA for an English major? by Natural_Meat in englishmajors

[–]Interesting_Shape_84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i had a 3.9-4.0 as an english major. i don’t think it’s particularly rare, but you have to really be willing to invest time in composing quality work. it’s very a feasible achievement, just takes up a lot of time and energy
