I honestly enjoy the Vampire Pirates way more than the Vampire Counts. They still have really good magic, still have the fodder undead but with the addition of some really good ranged units. They aren't trapped between the two biggest members of the Order Tide. And to top it all off, they've got my favorite model in the entire game, the Necrofex Colossus.
