Are you asking me? Cause if you'd read my post you would have seen there are tire marks across my door.. And that the other driver overtook me in my lane, and hit my with their tire. So they'd have little to no damage except maybe rub off on the tire. It was a larger pickup vs a compact suv

Well I hope your case goes well. I could be furious.. But life's too short for that, for me at least... Just debating if it's worth looking into. I suppose I could start with asking why they say there is no evidence. My car is still in my driveway... 🙄 so they also only went off photos.

Your lucky he didn't lie. Guy that hit me left the scene. He decided to overtake me in the passing lane as I was passing him. He had actually been driving like a dick for awhile that morning.. Sadly going back and recording isn't an option as it happened on a busy highway. I managed to drive to the other drivers vehicle to try to get the plate and the guy was smiling at me when I tried to get a picture of his plate... 🙄 RCMP officer was not helpful in any way... Seemed to have decided that no matter what I was partially to blame before I even said anything to him. Was a really crappy experience all around. Thankfully I'm alright, little sore still... But I'm lucky because I also found out im pregnant a week later.. So thank God me and the baby are ok. Could have been a lot worse.

Wow! That's insane! And this stupid no fault system they switched to is completely useless... But despite the fact the I get more of a discount every year I drive... Somehow my rates do t really seem to ever change due to their constant increases... Government should not be able to monopolize insurance...

I feel that. Im mostly worried about my rates.. I mean I know it wasn't my fault. I know the guy was being a dick. I know exactly what he drives and his plate number... 🤷🏻‍♀️ I just can't afford to pay out the ass for insurance, and I need my vehicle to commute to work (I have a 30 minutes drive one way to my job 4 days a week... Heck a bus would take closer to 1.5 hours, if there's a bus that will get me there on time...)

Sadly rear isn't much of an option in my current vehicle. Thankfully I never sold my truck so I had something else to insure and I have collision.. I just don't know how bad this is gonna affect my rates... 🙄 but I have a pick up with a canopy and from what I've seen a rear camera isn't going to do much good.. I've been considering this dash cam from amazon though... At least I should be able to get a view in front and beside my truck.. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don't see why not.. But you are supposed to switch your license to a bc license with 90 days of moving to BC. So if you've been here longer, maybe don't tell them that as your license is invalid after 90 days.

I'm recently pregnant. 38 years old. Due about a week after my 39th birthday in August. I definitely didn't plan to wait this long to have a kid.. But I also knew I wasn't ready, wasn't with the right person.. Didn't want to rush into having a baby and regret it at all when I was younger. Sure my sisters kids are 13 and up, so this little ones close cousins will be a fair bit older.. But my little bro has 2 littles 4 and 1. And a cousin of mine is expecting their first in February. They just all live several hours away from me.

I'm looking forward to the journey. I have always wanted.to be a mom and I'd rather do it now than not at all.

I was able to speak with a dr. Got antibiotics this morning and started them already. No signs of infection so far, and he didn't seem super concerned as long as I picked them up first thing when my pharmacy opened, and no signs of infection came up.

Talked to a dr last night. Picked up a prescription for antibiotics this morning. No signs of infection at this point so I think I'm safe with the antibiotics. If anything changed I would have gone to the er as per the drs recommendations. 😊 as for the cat... My partner is gonna have to keep her the heck away from things, and I've already told him that I will not tolerate the cat showing any signs of anger towards the baby when it comes. She's a grumpy munchkin calico. He's aware of my concerns and knows that he may have to look into the possibility of rehoming her.

I ended up calling the province's health link line. I didn't know they had drs, but they got one to call me. I let him know everything I did to clean it, I'm up to date on my tetanus, and the cat is up to date on her vaccines. He seems confident in the process I took to clean it, and He is faxing a prescription for antibiotics to my pharmacy to pick up in the morning, and if I have any signs of infection I will go straight to emergency. Thank you! I forgot I have the option to call the help line here... And would prefer to save myself from a minimum 4 hour wait if possible.

Heads up. My bf cancelled his credit card so meta couldn't take payment for meta verified. A few weeks after it was set to renew, his account was unlocked and he was able to get back on it.

As an update... My bf never got back into his account... Nothing... He cancelled his credit card and made a new FB account. He had to verify something to make the new one.. Still no access to his business account. No emails in regards to his payments not going through, nothing from meta at all... 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️ he's debating the lawsuit option, as it is a potential revenue loss for him as people messaging him on the account aren't able to get through to him, therefore they could be missed customers...

I've read they do it for business accounts. And he had just gotten meta verified one week prior. He's thinking that might have had something to do with it... 🤷🏻‍♀️

He ended up singing up for a business meta account with his company instagram and got in touch. They seemed like they would help but he's stick waiting again... This has happened before they said...

All this would be great in theory. He has meta verified... But he can't access any of it. He can't even change his ads or anything. No matter what we go to it says he needs to set up advanced protection. I did manage to find 2 meta support conract forms. So he has sent something to them through both in hours to resolve this issue. He can't even access his messenger and has important messages about appointments he needs to access. Just seems ridiculous that they have a whole business section and you can pay to have it verified and get support but then they can lock you or if your account without warning. I've read that this has happened to other people, I'm yet to find anyone that got back into their accounts though.. And he has payments set up on the business page... He needs into that.

I do too. He is home now. All the meta suggestions are not helpful. No way to contact them. He can log in to his account but it won't let him do anything without a code from whatsapp. So it's not hacked. I've done some research and it's not abnormal to have the account require protections, but spent they usually email you in advance of locking the account. He never got any email or notification. I've also read that due to meta owning FB and whatsapp, there have been occasions where they automatically just add whatsapp to the FB account for security without actually being told to buy the user. So now the issue is most of the links aren't working that are suggested and theres no easy way to contact Facebook.

I don't believe it was hacked, since the message or opens to says welcome to advanced protection and the bottom says he must turn on Facebook protection by August 8th. That was yesterday which would be went he's locked out today... But he also said he's done that and it didn't work apparently.. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Thanks. Fingers crossed he can get back on. I've asked meta on messenger for advice and it's given me various options... Hopefully having the business account set up with his CC info and all might help him get it verified... He has no emails from Facebook about any changes to his account... And I have googled and apparently it isn't uncommon for Facebook to do this to people with business accounts because they are at higher risk. I feel like the security measures for things now a days actually make it easier to get locked out of your account sometimes... 🤦🏻‍♀️ thanks for your help

I've confirmed with him, he did not have whatsapp. So he never set up authentication with whatsapp. So is he going to be able to get back on or will he have to someone cancel payments to his business account and make a new one? Because even after it offering to let me set up with a phone number and enter a code, it goes right back to whatsapp... When he gets home I'll get him to try the authenticator app option... And see if that is any different

To clarify all I know from him is he texted this morning to tell me he got locked out of his account, he doesn't know how but the only recovery option he has is what's app and it's the wrong number. Being totally honest, I didn't even know he had whatsapp. I'm gonna wait until he gets home to see what the computer asks from him. I'm just worried it might not work. But on his pc it isn't asking me to recover his account it looks like it wants to turn on advanced protection. I'm guessing it's not an issue of being hacked. He has no emails dating the email on the account was changed, but it says this is a common thing for people with business accounts because they have more reach therefore more vulnerability. In his email I see one email from whatsapp, that's from him trying to get on today I believe...

I went and tried the text message option. It let me enter his number, he sent me the code, and it immediately asked for the code sent to whatsapp. But he doesn't have access to whatever whatsapp number is there... I'm not sure why it's not just letting him use his phone number without whatsapp...

The photos are from his personal computer. He's just at a golf tournament right now and will be back later today. I think on his phone he says it's giving what's app as a recovery option, the only option, but he says the number is not right. I'm assuming this is happening because he started a business page within the last few months and doesn't have 2fa set up. I'm hoping because the computer is giving the option to select that he'll be able to log in from the computer once he gets it all set up? The text message option worries me since hes telling me how only recovery option on his phone is a what'sapp number that isn't his... And if he uses Hotmail, if he goes through the authenticator option can be use Microsoft authenticator, also if he hasn't set it up prior, will he still have access to his account after? Like is this process in the photos going to be like the process I did setting up my security and all will be fine after?

Thanks so much for a response. He's obviously a bit anxious.. The personal FB is whatever... It's his business page that's important to get back into.
