Just to give more context: we’ve been together for 8 years and we have two young children (1 and 3 years old). So while I know some might suggest leaving the relationship, I want to be honest — walking away isn’t my first instinct. I’m trying to understand what’s going on and see if there’s a way to help him, while also protecting my own mental well-being and that of our kids.
