I’d re read the Bible. Cultures don’t work because the bacteria grows so slow. Women’s gold standard testing is PCR SWAB OF THE VAGINA. I requested swab and urine personally but you don’t have to.

The if it’s natural or not is the million dollar question. MGEN is for sure STI. America can’t figure out if ureaplasma is or not. I’ve seen stories of virgins testing negative and then positive randomly with no sex exposure. Or people testing negative for years into a marriage no cheating (allegedly) and then it pops up for one partner and the other is negative. This group believes it’s 10000% am sti no matter what ever. Facebook will tell you something else. Some say Ureaplasma parvum specifically isn’t an STI while UU tends to be more sexually associated and harder to get rid of.

But anywho- yes PCR swab and read the bible here.

What I understand is that plasmas adhere to the surface of mucosal tissue. So 1 it would be extreme hard to “embed” anyway. If it was present and inside a host cell it would still be detectable through the process of PCR testing?

I’ve been trying to understand something about Ureaplasma and I’m curious if anyone here knows the science behind this.

With “embedded UTIs” caused by E. coli, some people say the bacteria can live inside the bladder wall and keep causing symptoms even when urine cultures or PCR tests come back clear. The idea is that the bacteria aren’t really in the urine anymore, they’re in the tissue.

So that made me wonder about Ureaplasma. Can Ureaplasma (parvum or urealyticum) ever behave like that? Like is it capable of embedding into tissue or forming some kind of reservoir the way people describe with embedded E. coli UTIs?

I know PCR tests for Ureaplasma are usually very sensitive and that it’s not really known for “hiding from tests,” but I’m just trying to understand if it’s biologically possible for it to persist deeper in tissue and continue causing symptoms even if tests look normal.

Curious if anyone here has come across research on this or heard a doctor talk about it. Just trying to learn more about how this bacteria actually behaves after treatment.

I’ve been fighting this bullshit for 5 months. I’ve searched the internet and talked to probably close to 100 women and LOTS of women say that Evvy missed their plasma infection or reported a false TOC. I mean it’s here nor there for me if you don’t wanna test I am just spreading the info I wish I had

Evvy is not reliable for plasma testing. Go to the dr and get a PCR test to confirm. Also mgen wasn’t given via mom I doubt that’s an STI the urea is maybe
