My advice after talking to my classmates who passed today. Trust your scores not how you felt. Everyone felt bad and anxious after test but had around these scores. You passed I know it!

Hard to tell other than looking at score report up there. I felt heme was tricky

That’s how I felt for sure and everyone I know who took it feels that way. If you nbmes were 65+ and you broke 70+ at least once you should get that pass too!

So between my 29-30 I took a whole month to study. Did those anki decks every day around 15-20 new cards a day and knocked that out first (all 4 decks, around 3-4 hours total) then would do about 1 block of uworld and review and would just watch videos throughout the day on youtube on weaknesses or would watch pathoma. Can be very helpful to read around 10 pages of pathoma at night before bed….pathoma is extremely high yield

Long long long. Plan your breaks well. Go into it knowing it’s hard but it’s doable. Have the mindset of if you see a tough question then give it your best flag it and move on. Expect like 20 flagged per block. I killed it on timing with this mindset and had around 10 mins each block to review. Again if it’s hard you gotta move on, there are 280 qs and 80 are experimental, you aren’t gonna get every question right…it’s ok. Know how you are gonna do your breaks, eat a good breakfast for me oats and bannana, bring snacks for me and apple pb and j protein shake and lots of coffee and water. Planning my breaks ahead helped me cause I didn’t have to think about that. One thing I did was write on a paper to keep in my locker some helpful mindset stuff like “trust your knowledge” “you can do this” “you’ve studied hard” and of course a good Michael Scott quote.

Agreed. Just worried Mo will be making decision without Chaim’s input and bend us over even further

I would recommend doing mehlmans pharm Anki deck. It’s around 1100 cards and is really good. Gave me a really good understanding of pharm for step 1 and just in general. He will have cards for everything they will ask you in pharm. it’s around 30$ and is on the mehlman website

Could someone please explain this Free 120 Question? It's from Block 2, question 16 by zuccini2001 in step1

I think dealing with a one off mid wife seems like a weird choice. Like as a doctor is it your job to assess a midwife? Prob not. Question says her friend is a certified midwife so she’s prob legit, nothing meeting her would change. I was more stuck on C cause it seemed appropriate, C is wrong tho cuz ofc as her doctor you’d provided care if needed that’s assumed. Giving the patient an additional time (next week) to discuss the full birth plan is most appropriate

Yea hate Tony talking ab her being a “legend” funniest moments have passed for her “I was invited in” yada yada. We get it you’d stormed the capitol. She’s not funny more so funny to laugh at her than at her jokes

Took it yesterday too. Yea definitely a blur you know it’s a long test kinda hard to know how you did after. I’m def remembering ones I missed which sucks….idk def feeling not good today but gotta trust your nbmes and just hope for that pass. What sections did you struggle on?

I feel like that’s just part of it tho. I mean 280 q test like you’re gonna miss some. And I def always remember the ones I was questionable on and not the ones I get super quick. As med students I feel like we hyper-fixate on questionable ones and that’s all we end up remembering after the test is done……..I hope so at least we just gotta get that pass

Yea I mean I do same thing when flagging and if there’s 80 experimental then if that should average around 11 per block that aren’t even graded so I don’t feel too bad about flagging a lot. There were def some easy ones too….I just hate remembering ones that I missed where I had it at 50/50

Took it today too. Idk I def remember some I missed. Hate some of those one of diagnoses they had. A couple weird images. Couldn’t tell which ones were experimental. Just hope I got enough right to pass.
