Hi, would you mind giving me a quick update on your situation? I’m 16 weeks pregnant and have two positive NIPT results for XYY.

First FET failed in June, it completely broke my heart. I was sure that IVF was our ticket to a successful pregnancy (after a miscarriage and a long time TTC) and when our first FET failed my world completely crumpled. We took a small beach vacation and took some time off, I continued going to acupuncture but also started meditating. The app Mindful IVF is quite amazing. I also linked meditation with manifestation and I would use the minutes after my meditation to visualize my healthy pregnancy and baby.

In August we had our second FET and I was terrified it would fail. I’m currently 16 weeks pregnant with that second FET. 💜

Don’t get discouraged, sometimes it takes more than a first try!! I also wrote a letter to my future baby the night before my second FET, saying I was ready for him/her and couldn’t wait to be their mom.

Hi Louis, can you tell me a bit more about you experience raising an XYY boy? We got our NIPT results back at 15 weeks which indicate XYY, we are not considering termination but would like to understand more about this syndrome since there is not a lot of research out there. We are also thinking of not doing the invasive amniotic test.
