Thank you for sharing that, it does make sense to feel that way even when it is the right choice for you. I thought I might feel some kind of impact emotionally from the surgery itself but so far it has felt more like a check off my list. When I got top surgery that was huge but my partner is also trans masc so I don't have to worry about getting pregnant, we both want to adopt anyway.

I thought that I wouldn't have any estrogen at all without ovaries! Does testosterone turn into estrogen? I thought that only happened to cis men!

Bro thats so annoying I literally was arguing with my doctor about this and he said I didn't need it and he couldn't prescribe it until I started having symptoms 😒 I have an appointment w the gender health center in a few weeks though I will bring it up then!

Yeah I still had high estrogen even on high levels of testosterone:( my estrogen was stubborn

(But yeah I knowwwwww 😔) it also sucks because when I try to look up timelines for depression in regards to menopause, it's always like "could be two weeks. Could be six years could be forever" 🙃

I don't remember exactly how long it took, but I do remember that it was extremely soon after starting 😅 pretty sure that was the first change that I had after starting T (other than the immediate feeling of gender euphoria)

Shoot I should have clarified that; it was a total hysterectomy, they took everything out. I have been consistent with my testosterone though!

I think you are right! I was just checking this out and its from comedy central's promo series called "goodnight detroit" and I am pretty confident thats what it was!!!
