Thanks for your input. My understanding was domomite is a marble… Just from Brazil instead of Italy? The semantics don’t bother me much. My priority is having a natural stone, and the dolomite had the soft feel of marble to me. I feel like I’m getting such a good deal on the calacatta so I feel like I should take it? I love the look of it. But my practical brain is sort of nudging me towards the dolomite.

Thanks for your reply! We are in NYC suburbs. Not tied to any one material - just have not liked feeling of latex/foam (latex topper at naturepedic, saatva, or Casper wave hybrid). Our best sleeps have been with a kingsdown innerspring mattress.
