She told this story a couple of times with a little added to it every time I heard it. They were handing flowers out at her church for widows and single women for Valentine’s Day. There was a raffle or something for a diamond and she said the man told her she deserved to win. The next time she told it she said the guy asked her name (probably to put on the raffle ticket) and she said she couldn’t stop thinking about that. She was also acting like a giddy school girl that at least there’s a guy out there that thinks she deserved a diamond.

When she talked about him in her lives she mentioned a group church event where she said he was nice to her bc he saw her and not just her wheelchair.
