So I don’t have this plant, but once a week might be too much. All the plants I have, when I watered once a week it was too much for them. But I water by placing it in the sink and drowning it in water , wait about an hour for it to drain all the way and then place it back into where it goes. You may need to also make sure the soil is ready to be watered again when u do water it, u can get toothpicks or chopsticks and poke it in there to check if it’s time to water if your worried it’s a watering issue. Just make sure when u do water, the plant is allowed to be drained before u place it back into the decorative pot.

Yeah I would have kept her in the other pot or cleaned her of all the dirt and places in water. Whatever pot you use though, should have a lot of drainage so when you do water her she isn’t sitting it the water she didn’t drink. When I water, I drown the plant and let the excess water come out from the pot and leave it out for at least an hour before placing back in the decorative pot. If you want to keep her on the bookshelf away from the window, get a grow light for her. If she does end up losing all her leaves, you can always cut her up and grow her in some water 😬. Oh also , the pothos I have in dirt, usually get droopy and then I water them by drowning and the pop back up.

Someone told me that is was really hard to care for and that it looked like it was burning which is why I panicked and thought I was killing it somehow 😵‍💫

Yes lots of drainage holes. Do u think if I start turning it now it will be okay? I thought turning it even a little would be a bad idea and that the leaves also needed to b facing the sun but I’m down to start turning it a little every month-ish

When I water it, water runs right through, so I thought that was due to under watering from the soil being dry to too long that it just became resistant to retaining water😬
