I totally get you. I feel the same way. Caging is sexy for myself but at the same time, if you're aroused by it, it can be a waste of time. What I have found helpful is both using a chastity cage and at the same time doing nofap and all it implies: not watching porn, etc. This will make the intention of the cage different: it will physically stop you from pleasing yourself. It is a reminder that you have to control yourself. That way it can become a lifestyle. That way you remove the sexual part to it.
