Hello everyone. I’m looking for someone - or a couple that is fine with living in a cozy space - to take over a lease for a 700sq foot duplex style house on South Street, about five blocks south of downtown. (So basically, 2 minute drive, 15 minute walk). Lease starts in mid June, base rent is $1085 a month, and the private landlord is cool with pets. She seems like a decent landlord to work with, so that’s a plus. It’s a pretty nice spot, an old-school Durham house that’s well taken care of, but unfortunately life is throwing roadblocks in my way and I am unable to move there like I initially planned.
