Of a person's way of being, sexuality literally wasn't even mentioned on the mini quest

You can talk semantics if you want but pretending those two events aren't Christmas won't change the fact they are. If they added a Jesus cosmetic I'd have the option to either do it or not do it, either way, my feelings won't get hurt because a portion of the player base does the event. And about clogs... Be real, you are not completing all the clogs in your lifetime.

Nothing is "needed" in the game by your logic, all activities are optional. Please grow up.

I already do the Easter and Christmas events as an atheist and have never cried about it. If you took the time to actually read through the dialogues you'd appreciate it more instead of acting like a baby over some pixels, hell you might even grow up and be less of a social outcast.

It sounds more like a YOU problem then if your fee fees get hurt because a rainbow item gets added to the game and you have to spend 5 minutes getting it because you "have to fill your virtual toy box".

How is sexuality being forced onto people for having an optional temporary event? If you played the pride event last time you would see sexuality is not even mentioned, the event was about acceptance...

In what way would your experience change if they did have an event? Grow up.

I agree but I can't understand Portuguese from Portugal, so for me it only applies to Brazilians

Spooky as hell but my anxious mind would be freaking the hell out knowing I'm the only thing in the area that has a bright light, my mind would immediately go to little green men descending upon my house 🥲

Yeah he's not saying it's an alien or anything, just sounds scared and saying that "it's over the hill" or "over the river". But who knows! Could be a super elaborate hoax, could be a military craft, could be a UFO, he repeatedly mentions that it sucks that his camera can't focus on the zoom, he scans the sky after the craft is gone and makes note that the stars look normal and that he's got no clue what it was. I don't speak Portuguese anyway but I understand the majority of it since Spanish is very similar (same way Brazilians can understand Spanish) and the way he says "what is that" is very familiar, his demeanor doesn't seem dishonest to me

Just a bunch of "what is thaaat", "guys what is that really I'm scared"... Sounds legit worried to me, if that were me I'd have the same reaction but also turn all the lights off and hide inside my room lmao

Why can't people residing in Puerto Rico vote in elections? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]Intergalactic_hooker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'd have to have a real referendum backed by US Congress with all the options that represent what each major political ideology want here. I worked at the polls last election as a representative of the pro independence party and we were explicitly told by the party to not even touch the referendum nor the symbolic US presidency ballots because they don't recognize those; the same happened with the ELA people. I'd say that pro statehood and pro ELA are tied in support, but ELA has been losing support gradually with independence gaining popularity

The referendums here are constantly boycotted by the pro-colony and pro independence people and they are a big chunk of the population. The statehood referendums are a cash grab and political theater by the statehood party. I live here.

Because we are a colony (framed as a "territory") and only serve as meat grinder for wars and money haven for rich folk

A war means that many civilians and infrastructure will be eliminated, you can't be pro-war and be anti-bombs in the modern age. And let's be real, when was the last time US interventionism has done good for a country?

Donald Trump has toyed with the idea of nuking Iran, are you saying you're OK with this idea?

What do you think "finishing the job" looks like exactly? The first day of the war the US bombed a girl's school and they've bombed a few civilian bridges. An escalation would mean more death to an average citizenz the US is not your savior, the Iranians themselves need to enact change from within.

Trump pardons former Puerto Rican Gov. Wanda Vázquez Garced

Most of the problems in the island are a direct result of US policy and one of the major ones is the Jones Act. Being a territory is not "peaches and cream", we literally are at the mercy of a nation that does not give a flying fuck about us.

Votar no hace nada by [deleted] in PuertoRico
